Eloisa Blitzer (1992) was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, where first developed their passion for electronic music at a very young age. This spaces were the only ones where they found a sense of belonging as a teenage queer in LATAM. Curiosity made them move to Europe: London, Madrid, and finally settling in Barcelona. In 2018, Eloisa co-founded MARICAS, a FLINT* queer collective, alongside ISAbella and Gina Guasch. What began as a party has gain international recognition and toured over 20 cities around the world and has evolved into much more than a party, a record label (MARICAS Records), a online platform, a mix series, a residency in Crack Magazine, EOS and Rinse FM UK, but most importantly a community. In 2023, together with Luli Acosta Quintas, they co-founded SENTIMENTAL, a booking agency specializing in artists around the spectrum of experimental electronic music. Additionally, they work as a project manager at GGT, a groundbreaking queer creative and design studio in Spain. They have served as a city connector for Resident Advisor, and as head of A&R in Yuukii Records. They have given talks around the topic of queerness and nightlife in Munchmuseet (Munch Museum) in Oslo, a RA Exchange for Mutek, La Casa Encendida in Madrid, Club Commission Berlin and several more underground events.
