As an active member of our Belgian nightlife scene, DC Salas has a career path that won’t be halted by a global pandemic. Locked out of clubs, the excellent DJ spends long hours in the studio, both producing new music or working on his weekly radio show on national broadcaster RTBF ‘s Jam. The latter is an utterly personal 60 minutes trip into the mind and vision of the Belgian with Peruvian roots, while the former will lead to releases on prime German label ‘Live At Robert Johnson’ and Catz ‘n Dogz their Pets Recordings. Furthermore he still co-runs Biologic Records and soon launches a brand new label called High Hopes.
For our Spotify Hundred, DC Salas offers an insight in his broad musical spectrum, where early nineties house music by Mappa Mundi goes hand in hand with Finis Africae delicate ambient sounds, space rock by Robbing Millions or the dreamlike Italian synth pop of Il Quadro di Troisi. Plus 96 more tracks to enter a true world on its own.
