Andrea Mancini alias Cleveland, born in Luxembourg into an Italian family, is a music producer, dj and artist behind the releases on Hivern Discs, label run by John Talabot and ESP Institute, from Los Angeles and most recently Kalahari Oyster Cult and his own Suzi-imprint.
The sound universe of Cleveland, although being versatile, is clearly recognisable. Built around warm "Left-field" tones and organic rhythms, Cleveland's productions are subtle with a modern feel while keeping a dancefloor focus through strangely elegant grooves. Andrea makes dark electronic music full of suggestive atmosphere and contemplative having a surprising balance between carefully designed loops thathelp the listener to get lost by keeping a propulsive side. Similar to his own creations, his dj & live sets captivate his audience, bringing influences of various references in one of unexpectedly dynamic, hypnotic, adventurous and personal journeys, gently lifting the listeners off the ground.
